Red Light GO @ MOLES (Battle of the Bands - Heat 6) - Bath 14/11/2005 Next up were Red Light Go. From the very first moment it was clear that this lot had the best front man in the competition thus far. Ok, so he may have looked as if he had just come back from a Rocky Horror Show convention, but he still managed to strut around the stage like Mick Jagger on a hot tin roof. The only problem is that they think it’s 1981, (they were even caught outside Mole’s selling black market Diana and Charles souvenir wedding tea towels) as they raced through a set that at times sounded like one long Killers b-side. This was due largely to the fact their keyboard seemed to have only one button on it, and was being played by a keyboard player with only one finger by the sounds of it. (He proved this to me later as he waved goodbye to me). Still, they were more entertaining than an evening of self-mutilation and the competition is richer for them going through via the audience vote. Hellon Hill
