R.L.G - R.I.P (2005 - 2007)
It looks like it has finally happened, the roller coaster ride that was Red Light GO has ground to a halt. 57 gigs after the first gig at Bar Excellence in Bristol on 9th March 2005, we played our final gig at legendary punk venue the Hope and Anchor in London on 29th December 2007 - treading the same boards that were once trod by the likes of Joy Division, The Specials, Madness, Ian Dury and the Stranglers.
A big thank you to all who have been involved -
Mark Trueman, Tom Hammond, Rob Wright, Steve Nelhams, Anna Parry Mark Ireson, Mat Mohangee, Richie Jobson Paul Bradley, Craig Macallister and Tom Bradley Leo Nine for producing the (to date) one and only album
The loyal people who have followed us over the years:-
Hazel, Steve, Jana, Chris, Bev, John, Brendan and Anna, Victoria, Cleone, Jane, Liz, Mark and Julie, Phil and Kate, Stu and the rest of the Franks (for some great support shows), Joh and Paul @ the Horseshoe, and everyone else who has crossed our path.
It's been fun, we played some good gigs and left our mark - however small that may be. You can definitely say that wherever we played we entertained and that we had some catchy pop tunes which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of bands who just expect it to happen.
I still think that there is another album in there and a hit single with the right backing -
If you wanna give me a million quid to do it - I'm sure i could re-plug the life support and get a new R.L.G together and we'll tour the world and elsewhere.
So What next ? Watch this space !
Peace, Love and insanity

Bristol Bands rock
Those marvellous people at BristolBands.com
are doing there utmost to drag the people of Bristol kicking
and screaming out of their homes to support local unsigned talent,
and slowly slowly it's catching on.
Hosted by Bristol's finest venue.the Fleece & Firkin, the latest installment saw Red
Light GO take to the stage and produce another energy fuelled
set. Blending in your face pop tunes with a newly installed
rockier edge and a dark sinister undercurrent, it proved irresistible
to the Bristol punters who lapped up copies of the latest CD.
Stroud Festival - The kids wanna ROCK .....
and rock they most certainly did. The sun brought the people
of Stroud out for their annual Fringe Festival in their droves
and by the time RLG entered the fray they were eager for entertainment.
An energy fuelled RLG set had young and old partying in the
streets. A blistering set of rock originals, done with RLGs
unique slant, whipped the crowd into a frenzy and the resulting
stage invasion at the end of the set gave security something
to think about. A good time was had by all - STROUD - YOU ROCK - roll on next year.
